Leporello of Mind

This artwork, inspired by the leporello (an accordion-folded notebook), explores themes of privacy and personal growth. The leporello is a symbolic screen, with one side representing development and the other reflecting our childlike fear of growing up. The relationship between the screen and the leporello mirrors how individual experiences shape imagination and decisions, much like keeping a personal diary.

On the reverse side, we chase dreams but fear adulthood, symbolized by a hole in the central panel—an opening to observe the unknown. In front of the panel, a plant, reminiscent of Jack's magic beans, represents the hesitation toward sudden growth and the vast, infinite world of imagination.
