I Slept, But Listened
This work reflects humanity's tendency to suppress emotions, highlighting the tension between hidden feelings and inner dreams. The figure, deeply asleep with a serene expression, lies on the floor. A fetish mask with four spikes tightly contours their face, accentuating their cheekbones and jawline, while a prominent ear suggests vigilance amidst tranquility.
The sculpture contrasts the peacefulness of sleep with the underlying tension of suppressed inner quirks, using soft narrative elements to create a striking emotional depth.
